Our Story

Founded on May 10, 1979, by Matías Ibáñez, Discos Edison's is an iconic second-hand record store located in the heart of the Raval neighborhood in Barcelona.

For over three decades, Matías managed this musical temple, known for its characteristic long hallway leading to a massive back room full of vinyl gems. In 2013, after a life dedicated to music, Matías retired, passing the torch to the current owner who keeps the original spirit alive.

We are a mandatory stop for diggers, DJs, and collectors. Our extensive catalog ranges from Jazz, Blues, and Classical to Pop, Rock, Electronic, and World Music in LP, Single, and CD formats.
